Founded in 1975 Brinker International owns, operates, or franchises more than 1,600 restaurants in 31 countries and two territories under the names Chili’s® Grill & Bar and Maggiano’s Little Italy®. They desired a new HQ to accommodate their fun brands and rapid growth. The Challenge

Brinker was in need of a new corporate headquarters after outgrowing their 30-year-outdated space. Wanting to physically express their growing brand, they opted for a new build-to-suit space in Cypress Waters, Irving. Client and employee retention were at the top of their business drivers list. They desired modern-looking furniture with modern day features, like height adjustability. Brinker personnel had a lot on their plate with the new build and wanted a manufacturer and dealer partner that could do the heavy lifting of the furniture process.

The Solution

Spencer + Company partnered with manufacturer, OFS, to provide a one-stop-shop when it came to Brinker’s furniture needs. We provided an innovative Staks Workstation and seating, casegoods, and ancillary products. We provided outdoor furniture that gave employees a space to take a break and enjoy nature.

The Outcome

Spencer + Company delivered an innovative, adjustable, and functional solution to Brinker International. The OFS Staks workstations offer height adjustability for employee wellness with gallery panels for privacy. Many employees were moving from a private office to a workstation, and the functions and features of these workstations helped make it an easy transition. The Very chairs can be adjusted in multiple ways allowing employees to be more comfortable while they are seated. The space features lots of natural light, game rooms, and outdoor furniture from Janus Et Cie on multiple levels. Employees have been beyond thrilled with the transformation and look forward to enjoying their new space for many years to come.
