    Spencer + Company was founded by Mary Spencer. Her business plan and the foundation for long term success was simple; work hard to provide clients with the best service possible.

  • 1985

    Spencer + Company becomes a Haworth “Preferred” Dealership.

  • 1986

    John Courson becomes a partner.

  • 1988

    Created proprietary installation company—Metroplex Facility Services.

  • 2011

    John Courson and Jason Smith acquire Spencer + Company from Mary Spencer.

  • 2013

    Spencer + Company opens a new showroom in the Dallas Design District.

  • 2014

    Haworth recognizes Spencer + Company as a Best In Class Dealership.

  • 2015
